I call them a major pain in the butt! Or, at least I used to. For a good portion of my diving life, I found it extremely difficult to find a flipper that fit me well for a reasonable price.

I was first introduced to the infamous fins when I was a kid on a family trip to the Dominican Republic. Although my parents later said it was probably one of their worst parenting calls, we had the opportunity to venture down 60' on a real live Scuba Dive!



It was fantastic - the warm water, beautiful scenery, colorful fish... my fins falling off every other minute, UGH!



Although the flipper incident was frustrating, the experience sparked my interest in the wonders of the ocean. I later received my dive certification and had the opportunity to experience amazing dive waters all over the world while in the Navy.

I was absolutely in love with the sport but not with my flippers! If they weren't falling off, they were too tight and painful to use.

That is when I decided to do some research!

Out of that research, this site was born.
