Waterproof Scuba Paint

Many dive shops and online stores offer a brand of waterproof scuba paint that will be sufficient for labeling all of your dive gear.

Most are general purpose permanent, waterproof markers - which are ideal for making clear, bold markings on almost any surface.

They are quick drying and withstand the elements without fading, chipping or losing its opacity.

Another option that is similar is the electric foil writer pen, or hot foil pen. With these tools, you just depress the button on the pen and it heats up. Once hot, start writing on the foil (shiny side up), and it will transfer onto your item. Works on most surfaces.
